Here is my dose of TOP FINDS, a list of what I’m enjoying or pondering at the moment featuring new trail running event, outdoor gear, Pop-up store and more!
New Exploration Space in London
Last week I was invited to the launch of the The North Face’s first Pop-up store in Europe specifically dedicated to an urban explorer. The shop offers lifestyle product exclusively geared towards exploring urban environments, the space represents the city expression of the outdoor brand, with ranges coming from Europe, Japan and USA.
“Born in the mountains, crafted for the city”
I warn you to not to go there with your credit card, the TNF’s mantra “Athlete Tested, Expedition Proven” has been translated into this lifestyle gear. It’s awesome, especially this mountain jacket 😉
// WHERE: 7 Earlham Street (nearest tube: Covent Garden), London, open for 6 months from Friday 2 nd September.
Cool Event: Trail Fest Glasgow
Love trail running, Scotland and mud? Come and spend the whole day talking, meeting, chatting, and running. The Glasgow Trail Fest is back! I wish I could go to this bud sadly I’m away that weekend.
It’s not a race: it’s a full-day festival of trail running and related activities, designed to provide practical support, inspiration and fun for runners of all abilities and levels of experience.
With a theme of ‘Building the Dream’, the lineup is packed with inspiration, knowledge, skills and advice from elite trail runners and ‘ordinary’ heroes. For seasoned ultra runners through to those new to running off-road, there’s something in the programme for everybody.
An all-day ticket will give you access to the full programme, which is split into four sessions;
// TrailFIT practical training sessions
// TrailHEROES inspirational speaker programme
// TrailRUN running and racing
// TrailCHAT after party
The guest speakers and coaches include;
Marco Consani, Debbie Martin-Consani, Gary Tompsett, Casey Morgan, Sophie Mullins, Lucja Leonard, James Stewart, Robert Hamilton, Mark Russell, Susie Allison and Graham Kelly.
“TrailFest is more than a race or speaker programme; it’s a real celebration of the sport we love.” [Jo Cowper, TrailFest co-founder]
Come, share the love of trail running and get inspired and run dirty!

New The North Face Trail Running Gear
Back in July I went to Germany to the OutDoor show, the meeting place for the outdoor world. It’s the world’s leading trade fair where you will get an overview of the latest trends and all the latest news. It was huge! Lots of new gear, clothes and other outdoor related stuff I didn’t even know existed. I got very excited by spotting the new trail running season (2017) from The North Face – great colours, new shoe technology (more bouncy) and material.
All the trailchicks out there check this out;
I really want to try these Women’s Ultra MT Winter running shoes with the HydroSeal® vamp technology. Say goodbye to annoying rocks and debris!

The Coolest Adventure Flask
You need this bottle in your life! Full stop. BeFree water filter system will turn any water into a safe and drinkable water. I often fill up my flasks with water from the streams, event though I’m sometimes not sure about the quality of the water. Well, no more hassle – BeFree is here.
Simply fill the flask with water, attach the cover and shake free the debris. Or, you can remove the filter from the flask and swish in any lake, river or stream. And when you’re ready to “hit the road,” the collapsible flask packs small to fit into tight spaces.
Just Smash, Stash and Go! Worry less, Discover more, BeFree.

New Outdoor Food: Nutberg
Nutberg might be my new food when on the go and in the mountains. In fact, I’m taking it with me to Nepal in November. Made in Czech Republic, Nutberg comes in a powder but it’s definitelly not one of those future-huel-type food. Produced from real ingredients, it takes just a few seconds to prep (just add water and shake) and it fuels you for long as it replaces a standard meal.
// One drink contains: 29 g protein, 43 g carbohydrate, 25 g healthy fat
Fuel your adventures with Nutberg
This is what you find in Nutberg meal;
